India records 1.32 Lakh Covid cases, 2,713 deaths in the last day

In the last 24 hours in India, 1,32,364 new cases of infection with coronavirus were reported, and 2,713 patients died. The situation is improving in the country for a few days, and there is a decline in corona cases.

With this, the total number of infected people in the country has gone up to 2,85,74,350. Out of these, 3, 40,702 people have lost their lives due to this dangerous virus. 

The number of active cases has come down to 16,35,993.

2.07 lakh patients recovered on the last day

In the last 24 hours, 2,07,071 patients recovered across the country. With this, the total number of patients who have recovered after defeating the epidemic has gone up to 2,65,97,655. The recovery rate of the country is 92.79 per cent. Apart from this, 20,75,428 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 35.74 crore coronavirus tests have been done in the country.

These are the most affected states.

If we look at the most affected states, so far 57,91,413 people have been found infected in Maharashtra and 97,394 people have died.So far 26,53,446 people have been found infected and 30,531 deaths have occurred in Karnataka, the second most affected state. Similarly, Kerala with 25,84,853 cases and 9,375 deaths and Tamil Nadu with 21,72,751 cases and 25,665 deaths are the next two worst-affected states.

Fifteen thousand two hundred twenty-nine people were found infected in Maharashtra on the last day, while 307 patients died. The situation seems to be under control due to the decrease in the pace of infection in the state. Similarly, in Karnataka, 18,324 people were found infected, and 514 patients died, while in Kerala, 18,853 cases were reported, and 153 deaths occurred. Twenty-four thousand four hundred five new cases were reported in Tamil Nadu, and 460 patients died.

According to Johns Hopkins University, around 17.20 crore people have been infected with the coronavirus worldwide, while 36.98 lakh people have died. In the most affected America, 33.30 million people have been infected, and about 5.96 lakh people have died. India is the second most affected country after America. At the same time, in Brazil, the third most affected country, out of 1.68 crores infected, about 4.69 lakh patients have died.
