BANGALORE: Police have raided homes in Jawadi Rowdy Sheet early this morning to curb criminal activity. In the Whitefield section, 116 rowdy houses led by DCP Devaraj were attacked.
A total of 82 rowdy were recovered during the attack, while 15 rowers have been booked under Section 110 of the CRPC. About two and a half kg of marijuana was seized during the attack and three rowdy persons have been booked under the NDPS Act. The maraudapura police station inspected the house of two rowdy men and found a case of arson.
Major rowdy sheeters including Rowdy Rohit of Marathalli Police Station, KR Puram Giri alias Gubbachi, Bellandur Boganahalli Keerthi and Marathahalli Somu have been arrested. Then all the rowdies were paraded to the Whitefield DCP office and some were booked.
The Inspector and Sub-Inspector of all Police Stations of the Whitefield Division, including ACP Manoj Kumar, were present.
