Corona: 3.61 lakh cases reported in india, more than 3,000 deaths for the first time

In the last 24 hours in India, 3,60,960 new cases of infection with coronavirus were reported, and 3,293 patients died. These are the highest number of cases and deaths reported in a single day in the country.

With this, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 1,79,97,267. Of these, 2,01,187 people have lost their lives due to this dangerous virus.

The number of active cases has increased to 29,78,709.

2.61 lakh patients recovered in the past

Talking about those cured after beating the coronavirus infection, 2,61,162 patients were cured across the country in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of patients recovering after defeating the epidemic has increased to 1,48,17,371. The country’s recovery rate is 82.54 per cent.

Apart from this, 17,23,912 tests were done across the country in the last 24 hours. Since the onset of the epidemic, 28.27 crore coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country.

If we look at the most affected states, 44,10,085 people have been infected, and 66,179 people have died in Maharashtra.

So far, 14,60,364 people have been infected, and 5,170 deaths in the second most affected state of Kerala.

Similarly, Karnataka, with 14,00,775 cases and 14,807 deaths and Andhra Pradesh, with 10,54,875 cases and 7,800 deaths, are the next two most affected states.

How are the circumstances of the most affected states?

Talking about new cases, 66,358 people were infected in Maharashtra on the previous day, while 895 patients died. These are the deaths recorded in the state in one day after the onset of the epidemic.

Similarly, in Kerala, 32,819 people were found infected, and 32 patients died, whereas in Karnataka, 31,830 cases were reported, and 180 patients died.

In Andhra Pradesh, 11,434 new cases were reported, and 64 patients died.

What is the status of the vaccination campaign?

Talking about the world’s largest vaccination campaign in the country, 14,78,27,367 doses of vaccine have been applied so far. 25,56,182 doses were applied on the previous day. Right now, people over 45 years of age are being vaccinated.

14.83 million people infected worldwide

According to Johns Hopkins University, around 14.83 million people have been infected with the coronavirus so far, while 31.31 lakh people have died.

In the most affected US, 3.21 million people have been infected, and 5.73 lakh people have died. India is the second most affected country after America.

At the same time, about 3.95 lakh patients out of 1.44 crore infected have died in Brazil’s third most affected country.
