Power Force Season 2: Is It Renewed For Season 2 This Year?

Power Force Season 2

Isn’t this the appropriate time, following this weekend’s spectacular finale, to discuss a possible Power Book IV: Force season 2 premiere date? It goes without stating that there will be a desire for more; the only question is when for Power Force Season 2.

According to the source, the gritty crime drama has been officially renewed for a second season after only five episodes. The revelation was apparently announced alongside Starz’s appointment of new showrunner Gary Lennon. Gary will succeed series creator Robert Munic, who oversaw production during the first season.

To begin, may we acknowledge that there will be another season? That was confirmed early this year, not that it came as a surprise. The Joseph Sikora drama is off to a strong start in the ratings, and there are several reasons to be optimistic about going ahead.

Naturally, the first item on the agenda is to note what we already know will be different in season 2. Season 1 showrunner Robert Munic has already left the project and has been replaced by franchise alum Gary Lennon, who previously worked on another Starz series, Hightown. There has been no casting news to date, but we anticipate that will change in the coming months.

Power Force Season 2 Anticipated Release Date

In terms of a possible premiere date, our current thought is that new episodes will begin airing in early 2023. Power shows are typically held once a year, and we see no evidence that this will change in the future. Filming is expected to begin in the next few months, and we may anticipate further formal announcements on a debut date in late 2022 or early 2023.

Power Force Season 2 Cast

Apart from Sikora, Starz has not confirmed which cast members and characters will reprise their roles in Force Season 2. However, the first season also included Isaac Keys (Diamond), Kris D. Lofton (Jenard Sampson), Lili Simmons (Claudia “Claud” Flynn), Gabrielle Ryan (Gloria), Shane Harper (Vic Flynn), and Anthony Fleming III (JP Gibbs).

However, given the Power universe’s reputation for dramatic fatalities, the April 17 season finale’s actions may provide some light on the Season 2 cast. Viewers are already aware that Gabrielle Ryan’s Gloria will not be returning for Season 2—at least not physically.

“Gabrielle is OK,” Ryan captioned an Instagram post from March 28 in which she shared behind-the-scenes images of her character’s shooting death. “Gloria, on the other hand, now has a bloody wound on her face… Why wasn’t Vic simply listening to Tommy? He had never steered him incorrectly before, as he stated.” For his part, Sikora tagged a March 28 “dump” of images including him and Ryan, “GUTTED.” One of my all-time favorite persons.”
