Khloé Kardashian was born on June 27, 1984, in Los Angeles, California. She is an American media personality, socialite, and model. Since 2007, she has starred in the reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside her family. Its success spawned spin-off series such as Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami (2009–2013) and Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons (2014–2015).

Kardashian was married to basketball player Lamar Odom from September 2009 to October 2016, just one month after they met. They had their own reality television show, Khloé & Lamar, from 2011 to 2012. In 2009, Kardashian competed on The Celebrity Apprentice’s second season, finishing tenth out of sixteen candidates and being fired by Donald Trump. In 2012, she co-hosted The X Factor’s second season in the United States alongside actor Mario Lopez.

Kardashian, along with her sisters Kourtney and Kim, is involved in the retail and fashion industries. Early Life:

Khloé Alexandra Kardashian was born on June 27, 1984[6] in Los Angeles, California to Kris (née Houghton), a homemaker, and Robert, a lawyer. Kourtney and Kim are her older sisters, and Rob is her younger brother. Their mother is of Dutch, English, Irish, and Scottish ancestry, and their father is an Armenian American of the third generation.  Following her parents’ 1991 divorce, her mother married 1976 Summer Olympics decathlon champion Caitlyn Jenner (then Bruce) in 1991. Kardashian gained stepbrothers Burton “Burt”, Brandon, and Brody; stepsister Casey; and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie through their marriage. Her father made headlines in 1994 as the defense attorney for football player O. J. Simpson during his murder trial.

Kim Kardashian attended Bel Air Preparatory School, Saint Martin of Tours School, Daniel Webster Middle School, A.E. Wright Middle School, and Montclair Preparatory School. She briefly attended Marymount High School in Los Angeles as a teenager, a Roman Catholic all-girls school. After her sisters graduated from high school, she left and enrolled in Alexandria Academy, an alternative one-to-one school, later stating that “there was no reason for me to stay” because she “felt like I didn’t have any friends.” At the age of 17, she graduated with honors a year early. Kardashian served as Nicole Richie’s assistant prior to her family’s reality television show.

Since the premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2007, Kardashian has faced criticism and a barrage of harsh remarks about her figure. In 2008, Kardashian dated Rashad McCants, a basketball player. In late January 2009, the two ended their seven-month relationship. On September 27, 2009, Kardashian married Lamar Odom, a professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers at the time. The couple married exactly one month after meeting at Odom’s colleague Metta World Peace’s birthday celebration. Kardashian dropped her middle name in favor of her husband’s, rebranding herself as Khloé Kardashian Odom. Kardashian named her pet boxer Bernard “BHops” Hopkins after boxer Bernard Hopkins.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom and for legal restoration of her last name on December 13, 2013, following months of speculation about their separation.

In July 2015, both couples completed divorce papers. The divorce had not yet been granted final sanction by a judge. In October 2015, following Odom’s hospitalization and his discovery unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was in a coma for four days; Kardashian withdrew her pending divorce case while he was in the hospital. Kardashian stated in an interview with People Magazine that they had not reunited, but that the divorce had been dropped to allow her to make medical choices on Odom’s behalf. Kardashian and Odom formalized their divorce in December 2016.

She began an on-again, off-again romance with rapper French Montana in January 2014. They ended their relationship in December of that year.  Kardashian began dating basketball superstar James Harden in 2015, after meeting during her brother-in-law Kanye West’s birthday party at the Staples Center. Between 2015 and 2016, the two spent eight months together.

Kardashian began dating Tristan Thompson, a basketball player, in 2016.

Kardashian gave birth to a daughter, True Thompson, on April 12, 2018, amid the scandal surrounding Thompson’s alleged pregnancy cheating.

Kardashian and Thompson ended their relationship in February 2019 after it was reported that Thompson had cheated on Kardashian with her younger half-sister Kylie Jenner’s then-best friend Jordyn Woods. They rekindled their romance in August 2020 after being quarantined together during the COVID-19 outbreak. They were said to have broken up again in June 2021.

Activism

Kardashian is an advocate for the acknowledgment of the Armenian genocide and has visited Tsitsernakaberd, Yerevan’s memorial to the victims.

In April 2021, Kardashian lauded President Joe Biden for acknowledging the Armenian Genocide officially, making him the first US president to do so.

Kardashian stepped out in October 2020 in support of Artsakh and Armenians, opposing Azerbaijan’s role in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

On October 10, 2020, she appeared on the ArmeniaFund fundraising telethon and pleaded with viewers to donate money to assist those affected by the recent fighting.

Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Kim were implicated in a $5 million class-action lawsuit filed in March 2012 against QuickTrim, the weight-loss product they endorse.

The complaint, filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, accuses the Kardashians (along with QuickTrim’s manufacturer, Windmill Health Products; retailer GNC; and others involved in the diet aid’s sales and marketing chain) of engaging in false and deceptive marketing. Plaintiffs from numerous jurisdictions asserted claims under their state’s consumer protection statutes.
