Nominations for the operator’s committee have been received ahead of this year’s Betsson AB annual general meeting. Consequently, board members Johan Lundberg, Eva Leach, Pontus Lindwall, and Peter Hamberg were suggested for re-election. The proposal also stipulates that the Board of Directors shall be made up of seven individuals. Four of them should be independent of the company’s management and main shareholders. The chairman must be one of these four members. The proposal also gets into gender ratio amongst board members. The scheme recommends that three out of the seven members of the Board are women.

Tristan Sjöberg’s re-election has been proposed as a result of his 25 years of worldwide gaming expertise. The statement of the Nomination Committee, together with its other suggestions, will be made public before the Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for May 10, 2022.
