Google launched a new powerful Pixel 5A smartphone in the global market this week, which the company has brought at affordable prices. The device has been launched by Google as a successor to Pixel 4A and has undergone several upgrades. You will have to be disappointed if you are waiting for the launch of this device in India. Google’s cheaper device will not be launched in the Indian market.
Pixel new phone comes at a price lower than 4a
The new Pixel 5A smartphone has been launched in the US and Japan at a price tag of $449 (about Rs 33,000). However, the launch of Pixel 4a in these markets last year has been priced at $499. Users were expecting the new device to be launched in India at around Rs 32,000. Pixel 5a has been brought in by the search engine company in only one colour option ‘Mostly Black’.
First Pixel a-Series Phone with Water Resistance
Google Pixel 5A has been launched with 5G connectivity and is the first device in the Pixel a-series to come with IP67 water resistance. The device features a 6.34-inch full HD+ display, which supports a 20:9 aspect ratio and an always-on display. Pixel 4a gave users a 6.2-inch display. However, pixel 5a weighs 183 grams more than the previous device and comes with metal frames.
Pixel 5a to get powerful battery life
Pixel 5A has got the biggest upgrade as a battery and will provide long battery life to users. Last year, in Pixel 4a, the company has provided a 3,885mAh battery, which has been reduced to 4,680mAh in pixel 5a this year. However, pixel 5a has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor like pixel 4a launched last year. The device has been launched with 18W fast charging support.
5G device to get strong camera performance
The pixel 5a rear panel has a 12.2-megapixel dual-pixel camera with autofocus, optical and electronic image stabilization. It also has a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The pixel device has better results than camera sensors because of image processing software. The device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack with USB type-C connectivity ports and stereo speakers.
