Now the new release date of the film has also been finalized and the wait of the audience has increased further.
Noted film critic and business analyst, Taran Adarsh has announced the release date of the film on social media.
‘Fighter’ to be released on January 26
The film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on September 30, 2022, but now the release is prolonged. The film will hit the theatres in 2023 and not 2022.
Taran Adarsh made the announcement on Twitter. He wrote, ‘HRITHIK – DEEPIKA’S ‘FIGHTER’ TO RELEASE ON REPUBLIC DAY 2023′.
Taran Adarsh also announces that the film is being directed by Siddharth Anand and is being produced under the banner of Viacom 18 Studios.

‘Fighter’ is India’s first aerial action film
‘Fighter’ will be India’s first aerial action film. The film will have Hrithik’s high voltage action. He will be seen performing aerial stunts. Hrithik will be seen playing the role of a pilot for the first time in his film career.
Romance, emotion, and patriotism will all be seen together in the film. The budget of the film is said to be Rs 250 crore.
It will be a Pan Indian film that will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages besides Hindi.
Viacom 18 Studios hits out
Recently, a report revealed that Viacom 18 studios have got digital, theatre, and satellite rights associated with the release of the film ‘Fighter’.
Viacom was reportedly in a very expensive deal with Siddharth Anand’s Marfilx production house.
The makers had been in touch with several studios for a long time over the release rights of the film and finally, it hit Viacom 18 Studios.
