Manoj Bajpayee has worked in many super hit films in his career. He has been awarded several times for his best performance in films.
Last time his work was also highly appreciated in the web series ‘The Family Man 2’.
Recently Bajpayee made a big disclosure. He said that he would have turned to Hollywood by now, but things did not work out.
Received the offer of this film
Bajpai said, “I was supposed to get the second National Award for the film ‘Pinjar’ and then go to Jaisalmer. After this award ceremony, I went to Jaisalmer. There I had to do a Hollywood film, which was to be directed by an NRI director.”
He said, “I was in the lead role, and actress Lynn Collins was the heroine of the film. Everyone thought my life was going to be wonderful after this film. That’s what I was thinking myself.”
Astrologer’s prediction came true
Bajpai said, “I met the father of well-known actor Shrivallabh Vyas, a famous astrologer in Jaisalmer. I asked him, please tell me what will happen to this film. He said nothing would happen. It has no future.”
Bajpai said, “I am back. A part of my heart was saying that this is true, while a part was saying that it was not true, but nothing really happened to this film.”
The actor not competing to go to Hollywood
Years passed for this, and Bajpayee has not been able to make his Hollywood debut yet. However, in an interview, he had said, “I am getting good roles and respect in India. I don’t want to go to Hollywood and start from zero.”
“I keep getting offers, but I am not one of those actors who are eager to make their Hollywood debut. I don’t want to join a foreign film to go to Hollywood,” he said.

Bajpayee will soon be seen in the film ‘Dial 100’. It also stars Sakshi Tanwar and Neena Gupta in lead roles. Directed by Rensil De Silva, this thriller film will revolve around different aspects of relationships.
Bajpayee is in the headlines for the Malayalam film ‘Kuroop’. He is also playing the lead role in director Kanu Behl’s film ‘Dispatch’. Based on the story of a journalist, Bajpayee will play the role of a crime reporter in the film.
