T-Series owner and producer Bhushan Kumar is a big name in the field of film production in Bollywood. He has produced many famous films till now.
Information is coming out that a woman has filed a rape case against Bhushan. Bhushan has been accused of raping a 30-year-old woman by luring her to give work in her project.
No clarification has come from Bhushan’s side in this matter yet.
Accused of threatening to make photos and videos viral
The woman has alleged that on the pretext of getting work, Bhushan has tortured her for nearly three years, from 2017 to August 2020. The woman alleged that Bhushan had raped her at three different places. He has also said that Bhushan had threatened to make his pictures and videos viral. At present, no arrest has been made in this case, and an investigation is going on.
Case registered in DN Nagar police station
A police source told ANI, “Case registered u/s 376 IPC against Bhushan Kumar, managing director, T-Series, at DN Nagar Police station on allegations of rape with a 30-year-old woman on the pretext of engaging her for a project at the company. Probe underway, no arrests made till now,”
This is not the first time that such allegations have been levelled against producer Bhushan. Even during #Metoo, Bhushan was accused of physical harassment.
In 2018, Bhushan was accused of sexual harassment by a Twitter user during the MeToo movement. In her tweet, the actress had claimed that she was dropped from the film because she refused to sleep with ‘Boss’. He had said that he was offered three films but was called to meet him at Versova’s bungalow. He had told that Bhushan wanted to have a relationship with her.
Bhushan is in a discussion about these films
Many films are coming under the banner of Bhushan’s production. He is in a discussion about Vidya Balan’s film ‘Lioness’. The film has been released on Amazon Prime Video on 18 June. Bhushan has assisted in the production of the film. Apart from this, he is producing popular films like ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’, ‘Jhund’, ‘Thadam’ and ‘Shiddat’. He is also producing Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’.
