Poco India extended warranties by two months due to COVID-19

If you have a Paco smartphone and its warranty period is about to expire, there is no need to worry.

The company has decided to extend the smartphone’s warranty for two months, given the current state of the Coronavirus epidemic.

The benefit of this will be given to those Poco smartphone users whose warranty of the device will expire in May and June.

Now such customers will be able to take advantage of the warranty period till August.

Extended warranty to protect customers

The Chinese smartphone company has extended the warranty of its devices considering the second wave of the Covid-19. In fact, due to high infection in many places, it is not safe for people to go out and go to the service centre.

The company wants customers whose devices cannot be repaired now to wait. After the warranty is extended, users will be able to repair a device later on when the conditions are better, and they will get the benefit of the warranty period.

The launch of new smartphones also postponed

Apart from extending the warranty, the brand has also postponed the launch of its new products.

Realme and other tech companies are not launching new phones, given the current challenging situation in India. Leaks revealed that Poco would launch its first gaming phone, Poco F3 GT, in the Indian market, which will be the successor of Poco F1.

This smartphone may be a rebranded variant of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.
